Galaxy Tab Price Finally Lowered at T-Mobile

With the onslaught of Android tablets coming in 2011 (many Android 3.0-based), the Samsung Galaxy Tab doesn't have quite the monopoly as it did late last year. Many carriers took note of this and have lowered the price of the tab, and T-Mobile US is finally ready to do the same lowering the price $50 on January 26th.

HTC Merge Appears Again, Heading to Alltel

We first heard about the HTC Merge (formally the HTC Lexikon) all the way back in September. Since then there have been a few leaks like it appearing on Verizon's website and then, just like that, it completely disappeared. Well now after it has been apparently scrapped by Verizon, it has shown up featuring Alltel branding. The HTC device featuring a full QWERTY keyboard was met with much excitement before it disappeared. Rumored to be one of the first World Phones, then was delayed to utilize LTE, the Merge is not even coming to Verizon for reasons unknown. Even though it will not be introduced to the masses on Big Red, it sure brings Alltel's Android linup up to par with other carriers. Schmidt Expects Another 10 Years at Google

When Google's Chief Executive Eric Schmidt stepped down last week the entire internet went into a frenzy. Questions arose if he would be leaving the company and what it means for the powerhouse that is Google. Well in his final keynote today at the DLD Media Conference in Munich, Schmidt said: "I'm very personally excited about my next decade at Google."
