Motorola Milestone XT720 Gets A Few Upgrades

If you were a little disappointed about the original specs of the Motorola Milestone XT720, you weren’t alone. Those outdated mid-range specs took a little air out of the balloon. Thankfully, those Motorola will up the specs a bit for it’s re-release.

Motorola i1 releasing June 20th

Boost Mobile has officially announced the Motorola i1. This Android powered handset will be available on June 2oth. Boost Mobile is a contract less prepaid wireless company, this will be the first Android handset on such a company.

Samsung responds to Apple, Retina VS AMOLED

At the keynote presentation for the iPhone 4, Steve Jobs took a few shots at other displays for not being as good as the Retina display that is on the new iPhone. Many people took exception to these claims and finally someone has responded to these allegations. Samsung especially says, “The Retina display isn’t that great, AMOLED is better”. Well, this isn’t an exact quote but they are saying something along those lines.

Droid Incredible Has Been Rooted

One of the best things about owning an Android device is the ability to gain root access. Sometimes this is an easy process and other times it’s very hard. The Droid Incredible has been a tough nut to crack despite the fact that it is an HTC device and there are many great hackers in the developer community that primary work on modding HTC devices. Finally, the Droid Incredible has been rooted.

Yes, it’s that time of day again. It’s time for another Android tablet that we will not see in stores for quite some time. This is a pretty impressive piece of work though. When it does hit, I see a few people snagging this one up.  Malata has introduced a 10-inch tablet, it’s called the SMB-A1011.

Roger’s Liquid E, Reviewed by Slashgear

While we wait for our first Acer Android Device our friends in Canada now have the Liquid E. this is second handset in Acer’s Liquid series and it looks almost identical its predecessor. There has been a few welcome additions, first of which is the Snapdragon processor. Like the original Liquid, the Liquid E CPU is also under clocked to 768, so you dont get to enjoy the full befits of the 1GHZ clock speed.

Awhile back there was a rumor that T-Mobile will be getting a device similar to the Droid but without the keyboard and a better camera. Well, that rumor may come true soon, the Motorola Milestone XT720 could make its way into their stores. It has T-mobile compatible 3G bands.

Acer Aspire One D260 Android Compatible Netbook

Acer recently announced the D260 netbook. This netbook will have the ability to dual boot Windows 7 and Android. It will be released on July 1st, finally an Android netbook/tablet type device that we can actually go out and purchase.

Norton has just released an security app for Android. I know what you think, what’s the point? This app is surely not needed but it will definitely make a few people feel more secure when browsing the web on their Android device. It does have a few good features that most of us might find useful.
