Verizon CFO: “Unlimited is just a word”

Hot on the heels of the iPhone 5 release, Verizon CFO Fran Shammo has some strong words to say. Shammo argues that unlimited data is essentially going away forever and never coming back. According to the report he said that "unlimited is just a word" and that "it doesn’t really mean anything.”

Verizon sees more Android activations than all other carriers

If there's one thing about Verizon, they love touting their huge 4G LTE network, as well as the Android phones that go with it. It isn't too surprising then that between June and August of this year, Android devices accounted for around half of all device activations on Verizon. That's a lot of Android phones.
