Sony Xperia Z1 first update already rolling out in India

The brand new Sony Xperia Z1 smartphone has only been available for a few days in select countries, but we're already starting to see reports of it receiving a quick software update. While we wait for some sort of US carrier announcement, others will be happy to know Sony looks to be on the ball with software updates and bug fixes.

Verizon calms down, removes logo from Galaxy Note 3 home button

When Verizon announced their version of the popular Galaxy Note II flagship smartphone last year, many were angry and upset to see they plastered their checkmark logo right on the home button. For whatever reason they felt the need to put it there, and all over the back of the device, and as expected many users weren't too pleased. Well, the Galaxy Note 3 has escaped this issue, and it didn't get the same brutal treatment.

Android 4.4 KitKat spotted again, this time build KRS74D

Android 4.4 KitKat is coming, and coming soon. While we all sit here and patiently await more details from the folks at Google, others are looking around for any sort of indication that a final build is coming soon. Well, today's latest news comes from the Chromium Bug Tracker, which spotted a build of KitKat from just last week.

NFL Runner: Football Dash endless runner arrives on Android

For those of you getting ready for another exciting weekend of football and Week 3 of the NFL, we have a brand new game on Android worth sharing. It's called NFL Runner: Football Dash, and is essentially a watered down version of Temple Run that's been replaced with NFL players. It's quite fun and officially licensed too.

Google Keyboard screenshots in Play Store show Android 4.4 grey color scheme

The wait for Android 4.4 Key Lime Pie has many of us going crazy. So much in fact that Google changed the name of the next version of Android to KitKat, and launched a full fledged KitKat campaign with chocolate galore. While we're all waiting for an announcement from Google, a few eagle-eyed fans at AndroidPolice stumbled on some new Google Keyboard screenshots (from Google themselves) in the Play Store potentially showing us Android 4.4 KitKat.

Moto X official car and desk power docks available now

If you're one of the many that picked up the Moto X smartphone, we have some accessories finally available to accompany your new custom device. Back in August both docks hit the Moto website, but shortly were removed and no longer available. However, today they're in stock and can be yours starting at $39.95, although they won't come in fancy colors like the phone.

Madden NFL 25 available now for Android

The folks from EA Sports have surprised us all and released Madden NFL 25 for Android to the Google Play Store, and it's completely free.
