Amazon details Mayday, 24/7 live video tech support for Kindle Fire HDX line

Along with all of the excellent news from Amazon this evening regarding their new Kindle Fire HDX lineup is something called Mayday. You might be wondering what exactly that is, and we'll tell you. Mayday! Mayday! We have a problem! Amazon will be offering 365/24/7 (all day every day) live video remote tech support on their new Kindle Fire HDX tablets. This is free for the new tablet owners, and is rather interesting.

When Google announced their new Nexus 7 we knew the folks from Amazon would have something to say about it. Considering they were their biggest competitor last year, we expected something impressive, and now we know all the details on their new tablets. Just announced this evening is the all-new Kindle Fire HDX lineup. Coming in both a 7-inch and 8.9-inch model, with WiFi and 4G LTE options (Verizon included) we have all the details below.

LG decided to take a rather different approach to the standard smartphone design with their new G2. Heading away from the usual look everyone is familiar with and throwing the buttons all on the back. It's daring and bold, and certainly not for everyone. Speedtest 3.0 set to hit Android this week with a brand new look

The folks from Ookla have been teasing a brand new version of Speedtest for Android lately, and now we've learned it should be arriving on the Google Play Store sometime this week. Nothing beats Speedtest when it comes to checking your mobile or home network speeds, but their UI has struggled to keep up with all the changes and increased sizes of Android devices.
