Folks living in Australia holding a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and/or an X10 Mini Pro have some news on their update to Android 2.1, hooray! Bad news is, some of their carriers might not be as ready as they are. If you’re one of these people who didn’t get your phone from a carrier, you’re probably in luck. If you did, you might very well have to continue waiting for a while.

Now I must forewarn you if you’ve been waiting a long time for this 2.1 update, all you X10nsers, and you went with a carrier instead of picking up an unbranded phone, don’t cry now if you see your name on the list – they do say ASAP. The tweet above reads in the following way:
