Right on the heels of the release of the Motorola Moto X, AT&T has now also made available two other smartphones for their customers to choose from. The HTC One Mini and the 6.3-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Mega has just been added to the carrier’s catalog and will soon be available for purchase.

Riding on the popularity of the One, HTC touted the One Mini as a smaller and slightly less powerful version of the manufacturer’s current flagship. It carries a 4.3-inch 720p IPS display instead of the original 4.7-inch Full HD. It also runs on a slower 1.4 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. Nonetheless, we found the HTC One Mini to be as likeable as the original when we got our chance to take it for a spin, which can read about here.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega is a bit of an odd one, being larger but not necessarily better. It’s 6.3-inch display only supports a 720p resolution and it is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core with 1.5 GB of RAM. Fortunately, it will at least be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It feels as if it’s a quirky compromise to get a tablet-like experience without making it uncomfortable and awkward to use as a phone.

The HTC One Mini goes for $99.99 with a two-year contract or $429.99 for the full price, while the Samsung Galaxy Mega is priced at $149.99 on-contract and $479.99 without. The phones are currently only listed on AT&T’s website but order pages should go live soon.
