As expected, AT&T has launched the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom today. This makes AT&T the first US carrier to launch the handset, though as of this time there hasn’t been much chatter about the Galaxy S4 Zoom coming to other carriers. Still, there was no mention of exclusivity so the possibility remains. That said, for now the carrier offering the Galaxy S4 Zoom is AT&T and they have it priced at $199.99.

That of course, is the two-year agreement pricing. The full-retail is $529.99, though we suspect some may be curious about the Next pricing. Those going that route will be able to get away with $0 down and 20 monthly payments of $25. And while the AT&T Next purchase option doesn’t have the same two-year agreement, those who cancel service before the handset is fully paid will be hit with a bill for the balance.

Aside from the AT&T specifics (pricing), the Galaxy S4 Zoom is a handset that many are likely familiar with as Samsung originally announced it several months earlier. Essentially, this is a Galaxy S4 handset (with lesser specs) and has focus (pun intended) on the camera. In this case the Galaxy S4 is quite a bit thicker as compared to the regular model, but that makes room for the camera setup.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom sports a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor along with a 10x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). Users will also have the manual zoom ring, a dedicated shutter button and 25 presets that will hopefully be helpful in capturing quality images. Aside from the camera, the handset also has a 4.3-inch (960 x 540) display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Otherwise, we spent a bit of hands-on time with the Galaxy S4 Zoom shortly after the announcement and we later followed that up with a full review.
