T-Mobile launched the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch earlier in the week and as of today, AT&T has done the same. The oversized smartphone and companion smartwatch have arrived with AT&T this morning and as we had been expecting, we are seeing the Galaxy Note 3 available for $299.99 and the Galaxy Gear available for $299. The difference in the pricing though, the Note 3 $299.99 price point involves a two-year agreement.

That being said, AT&T has the Galaxy Note 3 available in white or black and they also have some options available for those looking to avoid the long-term commitment. The handset is also available on a one-year agreement for $549.99, for $724.99 month-to-month and for $35 per month under the AT&T Next program. Next is a contract-free option, however it does mean 20 monthly payments.

The AT&T Note 3 shares the same specs we have been seeing with other US carriers, which basically means you will be getting a 5.7-inch 1080p display with a quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 3200 mAh battery, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset will also be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz and have plenty of S Pen specific features.

Shifting over to the Galaxy Gear smartwatch and aside from the previously mentioned price — AT&T has this available in a variety of colors. The Galaxy Gear color lineup includes Oatmeal Beige, Rose Gold, Jet Black, Wild Orange, Gray and Lime Green. Remember though, at present the Galaxy Gear will only pair up with the Galaxy Note 3.

Those looking for a bit more detail on the watch may benefit from our earlier reviews. We posted our Galaxy Note 3 review earlier in the week that covered the watch and also had a review roundup with some thoughts. Otherwise, we now look towards Verizon Wireless as the next US carrier to launch the phone and watch, which is expected to happen on October 10th.

  1. picked this baby up this morning… Not bad. used to a HTC Vivid which had some heft so this thing will get some getting used to with its lite weight. Call quality was what I would call average. Mine was on the AT&T network.
