AT&T has once again shared some 4G LTE news. This time around we are getting word of additional and expanded coverage across five states. The additional coverage falls in California, Ohio, Oregon and Wisconsin while the expanded coverage falls for those in New Jersey.

There are six markets in total across those four states. Both California and Ohio have two each with Oregon and Wisconsin sitting with one each. That said, the coverage includes the following; Redding and Red Bluff, California; Gallipolis-Point Pleasant and Marion, Ohio; Albany, Oregon and Watertown-Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

The expanded New Jersey coverage deals with Essex, Morris and Passaic counties. Those break down as follows;

  • Essex County, N.J. (Bloomfield, Caldwell, Cedar Grove, Montclair, Nutley, Roseland and West Orange)
  • Morris County, N.J. (Boonton, Florham Park, East Hanover, Madison, Montville, Morristown and Parsippany)
  • Passaic County, N.J. (Clifton and West Paterson)

Otherwise, aside from the 4G LTE news, AT&T also shared details of two holiday promotions earlier in the day. Those offers both begin today and will run through January 9, 2014. The first offer is for a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet with purchase of a Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy Note II smartphone.

This offer has to be activated under a Mobile Share Plan and includes a two-year agreement, or alternatively, the customer to purchase under the Next program. The other offer is for a promotion card. This one is for those trading in an existing device and also purchasing something new, also under the Next program.
