Because you can never be too careful with your prized Samsung Galaxy S 4, mobile device accessory manufacturer Incipio has cooked up this new ATLAS case for the smartphone. Practically encasing the device in four layers, the ATLAS Ultra Protective Waterproof Case boasts of the best of the best when it comes to keeping your smartphone safe and dry.

It almost sounds like overkill, but rugged cases are usually purchased because owners except their smartphones to survive their more adventurous lifestyles. With a protective inner core, a water0-resistant structure, a co-molded rugged exterior, and a scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector, this ATLAS protective case has you covered whether you're on land or sea. Don't worry about making the smartphone unusable though, as Incipio promises that users will still have quick access to the necessary ports and that the case won't get in the way of using the touchscreen or the camera.

The ATLAS case promises to keep your Galaxy S 4 safe in water for up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Not exactly for underwater shots, but just enough for emergency situations. It also boasts bagging of a US Military 810G standard for protection against drops, dust, and water. It does have a rating of IP68. In contrast, some of the water and dust proof smartphones claim to have an IP67 rating, and that's without any case.

But in case those still aren't enough to assure you, Incipio has a free one-year limited warranty offer for those in the US. The company will repair or replace devices that have received accidental water damage even with the case. The ATLAS Ultra Protective Waterproof case for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 comes with four color combinations of Black/Dark Gray, Light Gray/Dark Gray, White/Gray, and even Pink/Gray. This accessory can be bought from Incipio's online store for a price of $89.99.
