If you think that Apple Music was just content to be available in Google Play Stores for Android devices, then you probably aren’t looped in their plan for world domination. Wait, we mean digital world domination. The Sonos system of speakers is the latest of their conquests as they announced that the on-demand music streaming service will now be available worldwide in all their systems by February 10. This means that all Sonos speakers will be able to play the entire catalog of Apple Music, well if the user is a subscriber of course.

Sonos actually had a beta testing program which started last December and involved “hundreds of thousands” of listeners and the feedback “has been great” according to Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. John MacFarlane, Sonos chief executive officer said that having Apple Music available to their users is all about bringing a great listening experience since their systems are easy and intuitive.

To be able to stream Apple Music on your Sonos speakers, go to the Sonos controller app on your smartphone, select “Add Music Services” and scroll down until you find the Apple Music logo. Log in to your account (of course you have to make sure you have an account already) and then start streaming music immediately. You can enjoy features like For You, New, Radio, and your own music as well.

You can download the Sonos Controller for Android from the Google Play Music for free. Does it still feel strange to have an Apple app on your Android device? You will eventually get used to it as it looks like they want to be available in as many platforms and devices as possible.
