ASUS is scheduled to unveil the ZenFone 3 at the Computex 2016. The Zenvolution is where the Taiwenese company will be launching the new premium flagship phone that is also expected to arrive in different variants. For one, we already know it will have a Deluxe version as shown off at the Red Dot 21 design site. We always knew it would be a mid-year launch and now that it’s just around the corner, we’re hearing more leaked information and rumors.

The latest details we’ve got are from GFXBench. The benchmark site has listed an ASUS Z016D complete with the following specs: 5.5-inch display, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 5-finger gesture support, Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU, 2.1GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage capacity, 21MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and the standard features (accelerometer, barometer, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, NFC, gyroscope, and compass. This seems to be the higher-specced variant of the ZenFone 3 and not the entry-level model because of the 128GB onboard storage. No word if there will be a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Out of the box, the ASUS ZenFone 3 will already run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It’s only a few days before the May 30 launch so be patient. After all, ASUS has the rest of 2016 to unleash more ZenFone 3. We say more will be coming because we saw numerous ZenFone 2 phones last year. There’s the Deluxe Special EditionDeluxe Edition with 256GB GB of storageLaser, and the 4GB RAM version.
