Samsung will partner with Tata Teleservices’ GSM brand Tata DOCOMO to launch the first Android handset in India. The handset will be the familiar Galaxy that has been around for a while in other parts of the world.

The device is set to launch in India later this year and the phone will sell for Rs 28,990. The partners will also provide 500MB of free download per month for six months to those who buy the device.
