We spent a bit of time with Lenovo during Mobile World Congress, and an extension of our time together brings a giveaway. Lenovo is providing one tablet for one lucky Android Community reader. Specifically, Lenovo is offering up the Yoga Tablet 10, a device we reviewed (and enjoyed) several months earlier. The giveaway involves the Facebook pages for both Android Community and Lenovo, but we will keep it on the simpler side.

Entry will require you to like both of these pages, and also leave a comment on the Facebook posting associated with this giveaway post. To further simplify, here is the link to the Facebook post you’ll need to leave a comment on, and here are the respective links for the Android Community and Lenovo Facebook pages. In short, comment, then like, and like. The contest will remain open through 11:59 PM EST on Friday March 21, 2014, at which time a winner will be chosen at random.

Before we get into the remaining fine print attached to the contest (yes, there has to be some), we should touch more on the tablet itself. In this case, the tablet, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 sports a 10.1-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. Other highlights include a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage space, a microSD card slot and 5MP rear-facing camera. You can also expect Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Of course, one of the standout features of this particular tablet comes with the unique design. Admittedly, it does look a bit strange at first glance, however when held in your hand you quickly come to realize just how much it makes sense. Not only does that rounded side contain a fold-out stand, but it also contains a good amount of the weight of the tablet. Or in other words, enough of the weight is in that space so it makes the tablet nicely balanced and able to be held easily with one-hand.

For reference, the Yoga Tablet 10 measures 10.3 x 7.1 x 0.1-0.3 inches and weighs in at 1.33 pounds. There is also a 9000 mAh battery, which is touted as being able to provide upwards of 18 hours of WiFi web surfing. Our earlier hands-on time with the tablet didn’t give us any reason to worry about battery life. Or more specifically, any lack thereof.

Anyway, having said all that, now seems like a good time to bring back that fine print — then let you hit those links from earlier in the post to enter the contest.

Competition is open to residents of the US only, over the age of 18. One entry per person. Family members of Lenovo and SlashGear/Android Community are not permitted to enter. Competition entries are only accepted via the specified Android Community and Lenovo Facebook pages; entries left in the comments section of this or any other post will not be recognized.

The winners will be contacted by an Android Community staff member upon being selected and will be expected to respond within 72 hours else their prize may be forfeit and another winner selected. Editors decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners agree that their name and details of their entry may be used for promotional purposes by, but not limited to Android Community, SlashGear, and Lenovo.

Prize consists of one Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10. There is no alternative unless this item becomes unavailable, in which case Android Community reserves the right to substitute another of equal or greater value.

Giveaway provided by Lenovo and Android Community. Any questions regarding this giveaway should be directed to giveaway [AT] slashgear.com.

[UPDATE] The contest is closed, we will be reaching out to the winner shortly.

  1. Well, there’s no way in hell I can win as I do not have a Farcebook account. And what some might not realize is that some employers forbid certain employees from have said accounts.
