The imminent release of Android 2.3 Gingerbread is looking more and more likely, with a tweet from Open Handset Alliance “Leadership Team” member Alvaro Fuentes Vasquez warning developers to ready their Nexus One handsets for the new OS. The update has been tipped for November 11.

That roughly translates to “Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) in the next few days:-D”. A recent Flash update would also seem to corroborate the November 11 release.
