The Amazon Prime Music has just been updated with new features including Android Auto, Android Wear support, and offline music playback right from an SD card. Amazon continues to enhance Prime Music experience for loyal subscribers of the music streaming service.  A couple of weeks ago, Amazon released an update that allowed streaming to Sonos speakers. Those in the UK also was allowed more freedom to enjoy music at no extra cost earlier this year.

This time, the app allows anyone to download music and then stored on a mobile device’s SD card directly. This means songs can be set to to be stored on the SD card instead of a local folder so more internal space are freed up. The more free space on your device, the more songs you can download and stream to enjoy.

Amazon also updated the app with support for Android Auto so you can play songs from your library or Prime Music while driving, thanks to offline streaming. Android Wear support brings app and smartwatch integration so you can control music playback and browse the app right from your wearable device. The app interface now also features expanded artist pages and tabs for new and trending music so when you open the Amazon Prime Music app, you’ll quickly see what’s new and popular so you’ll have something new to listen to.
