As we expected, Amazon UK has re-adjusted their pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, with the Froyo slate now down to £529.99. Previously listed at £599.99, the tablet’s price drop is likely to be a response to UK retailer Carphone Warehouse, who put the Galaxy Tab up for preorder earlier in the week at the lower figure.
According to Amazon’s figures – still not yet officially confirmed by Samsung – that now makes the Tab £270 less than the list price, or a 24-percent reduction. It will begin shipping on November 1 2010.
