Today we found a rather fun game that we figured you’d all like to check out. If you love a casual game that is easy and quick to pick up, or just love to support those small-time developers then Bad Roads is certainly for you. Just like Temple Run, Fruit Ninja and more the game is extremely simple and minimalistic, but plenty of fun and a good time waster.

We were tipped off on this game from the folks over at XDA, as this game is actually developed by one of their small-time developers. This is no big publisher or anything of that nature, but certainly a good game that had plenty of time and effort put into it. We love seeing simple little games like this so check it out below.

Bad Roads’ objective is pretty simple and clear. You’ll be driving Ted’s Truck full of ducks (yes I said chickens below) ducks in crates and you’ll have to safely transport this precious cargo over some pretty bad roads and rough terrain. It’s your usual 2D side scrolling game and we’ve seen plenty of similar titles, but this one just has that indie minimalistic feel to it. If you know what I mean. With a simple yellow background and silhouette of tree’s and building, you’ll be driving along for hours. Take a peek at our gameplay video below.

You can’t tell me you don’t love those plain graphics and 1950’s elevator music. We sure do! As you saw above the game is easy to pick up and play, has fun graphics and decent physics, and it’s absolutely free too. Not only that but the developer was kind enough to leave ads out of his game, but you can also grab the donate version for just over a buck should you want to support him. More details can be found at this XDA thread, then get it from the link below.
