We have been following the Acer Liquid Metal S120 smartphone for a while now. A couple pics of the smartphone surfaced last week and it looks pretty darn cool. You may have been waiting for more info on the device like the carrier that you can get the thing from.

Engadget has spied the device over on the FCC website as it makes its way through the regulations and tests needed to hit the market. We have been gobbling rumors for a while now about the hardware with things like a 3.6-inch 800 x 480 screen, 800MHz Qualcomm processor, and other things surfacing.

With the smartphone hitting, the FCC we now know that it will be operating on AT&T bandwidths with support for GSM/EDGA 850/1900 networks along with WCDMA Band II and V support. The FCC also confirms that the OS will be Android 2.2 and the device will have GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The smartphone should hit the UK this month.
