We haven’t been featuring a lot of tablets lately simply because there aren’t too many models being introduced in the market. It seems that OEMs are focusing their efforts on smartphones now because they are more convenient to use and everybody has and needs one. Acer is one of those few brands who are still working on new models in different categories like laptop, smartphone, and even desktop computer. The last Acer device was the Chromebook 14 with 14-hour battery and the new Liquid Jade and Zed phones.

Yesterday’s Next@Acer event in New York City, the Taiwanese company showed off the full HD Iconia Tab 10. It’s impressive because of the display quality plus the four front-facing speakers that offer great audio quality . The tablet features 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 2MP front camera, and quad-core MediaTek MT8163 processor plus MiraVision technology. The latter is notable for allowing great contrast and colors for a super sharp display.

As for the battery, we don’t know the size yet but it should be large enough to provide a maximum of eight hours on a single charge. Last year’s Acer Iconia Tab were installed with a 5910mAh battery so the next tablet should have a bigger one.
