A Leak from T-Mobile Confirms Launch of “Google Android Phone” for Early January, Nexus One Anybody?

As we all know by now, Google announced an “Android press gathering” coming on January 5th. And everyone on the blogosphere is excited and expecting that this event will be the launch of the much-rumored “Google Phone”; the Nexus One. And to reinforced this, both TmoNews and BGR have received internal screenshots from someone at T-Mobile.

As you can see on the image above, the page appears to be from T-Mobile’s StreamLine employee systems. It is kind of hard to read, I know, but below is what the page says, or at least, what I was able to get from it.

Google, with support from T-Mobile, is scheduled to launch a new Android device in early January. The Google Android phone will be sold directly by Google via the Web.

* Support for the device including troubleshooting and exchanges will be managed by Google and HTC.

* T-Mobile will offer service support including billing, coverage, features, and rate plans.

Additional details Streamline content regarding the launch of Google’s Android phone will be coming in early January.

So there you go folks, make your own conclusions and let us know in the comments what are your thoughts on this matter. One thing is for sure though, come January 5th, all of us will be alert and ready to get our hands on any info we can get about this new Android phone.
