HTC device codename list revealed, seems pretty accurate

Whoa, check out this list of codenames that was just leaked regarding that all popular smartphone brand HTC. Apparently this is a list of their upcoming device codenames and from my first initial glance this is highly accurate. Plenty of those have already hit the market and we've been hearing a few others lately too, like the just revealed HTC Edge.

HTC Flyer Receives Honeycomb Upgrade [Leak]

Several weeks ago we were holding the HTC Flyer for the first time, a brand new tablet running a unique version of HTC's Sense user interface on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, all in a mid-sized tablet form factor with a special "Scribe" stylus for on-screen writing. We got to look at this device as the HTC Flyer (a Wi-fi version of the tablet) and the HTC EVO View, a WiMAX-capable black instead of white plastic casing version. Now what we've got coming down the underground pipeline is a Honeycomb upgrade for the full tablet experience!

HTC Jetstream Tablet Pics Leak, AT&T 4G LTE and Sense UI Included

I know everyone loves Wednesday mornings, but today we have our first actual hardware pictures of the upcoming Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet from team HTC. The long rumored HTC Puccini tablet is now showing its face for the camera and we've also learned it will be called the HTC Jetstream over on AT&T. Check out the pictures after the break.

Samsung Impulse 4G Headed to AT&T as first 4G LTE Phone

While AT&T still has yet to actually officially launch their 4G LTE network we are now seeing a few signs of life regarding the upgraded service. This week AT&T is launching a few 4G LTE Mobile hotspot devices but so far nothing else has been announced. What we are now hearing is the Samsung Impulse 4G will be the first LTE smartphone to hit AT&T later this fall.

HTC Puccini Tablet will be called the HTC Jetstream on AT&T

Some new screenshots have leaked yet again of the upcoming HTC Puccini tablet. This time we now have what appears to be the official name and it will be known as the HTC Jetstream on AT&T. We saw plenty of screenshots at the first of the month but these latest images show the name as well as plenty of AT&T branding.

AT&T Launching 4G LTE Devices Next Week, Just Not Phones

You'd be correct if you were wondering if AT&T had launched their 4G LTE network yet and thought to yourself, no they haven't. That is because so far they've only been testing a few small areas and networks but nothing official has been launched. Next week AT&T will be launching their first 4G LTE devices and don't get too excited because they aren't smartphones or tablets, but we will however be seeing a 4G LTE mobile hotspot and a USB Modem coming on August 21st.

HTC Puccini Launching by early October

The HTC Puccini tablet could actually be launching in late September or early October according to HTC CFO Winston Yung, while we still don't know the full details of the tablet a possible release date like this is good news indeed. This news comes to us from DigiTimes reporting on Yung's comments.

HTC Investing $300 Million into Beats Audio, Could this be the big News?

All sorts of suggestions and rumors have been floating around since we first heard HTC was planning a major announcement tomorrow. We quickly heard they had something big they would reveal tomorrow morning to the masses but instead of a press release or something of that nature they are having a conference call live with HTC CEO Peter Chou. We have just heard the news might not be a special new tablet, or the next big smartphone -- instead it could be that they are partnering with Beats Audio.

HTC will be making a “Major Announcement” Tomorrow Morning

HTC just sent over a little tip warning us that they have a major announcement they plan to reveal early tomorrow morning, That is August 11th. CEO Peter Chou will be conducting a teleconference in Los Angeles, and that's about all we know. This comes as a surprise because we haven't heard anything as of late or seen anything large leaked that may be announced tomorrow but we have a few ideas running around up stairs.

AT&T Confirms no LTE Smartphones until late 2011

I wouldn't really call this a huge surprise considering we still haven't heard much from AT&T regarding their 4G LTE networks, and they are just barely starting to get off the ground. Today at a tech conference AT&T's senior vice president of mobility and consumer markets, Peter Ritcher, said that the company will not have a 4G LTE enabled smartphone until very late into 2011.
