Archos is revealing a touchscreen notebook, powered by Android. The ArcBook is a 10.1-inch notebook computer operating with Android 4.2, and has a full keyboard and trackpad aimed at “students and mobile professionals”. The price is right, but is the form factor?

Archos mulls over joining the Windows Phone race

Archos might have a reputation for outing very low-cost Android devices, and one curious gaming handheld, but it hasn't exactly been able to match the output, not to mention the profits, of the bigger dogs. It isn't known if that factor comes into play, but it seems that the company is interested in shipping Windows Phone devices sometime in the future.

Archos Neon tablet lineup unveiled

Another series of Archos tablets have been unveiled. This latest is the Neon tablet lineup and it will include three models. Specifically, the lineup will include the 90 Neon, 97 Neon and 101 Neon. And as we have seen based on earlier Archos announcements, those names mean the tablets will have 9.0, 9.7 and 10.1-inch displays respectively.

Archos 45 and 50 Helium smartphones coming with LTE

Archos has officially unveiled a pair of Helium branded smartphones. The two devices include the 45 Helium and the 50 Helium, which will bring a 4.5-inch and 5-inch display respectively. They will both be powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8926 processor and both will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean at launch.

Archos home automation setup arriving as “Connected Home”

Along with the Connected Self line of gadgets, Archos also dropped some teasers for the Connected Home lineup. Archos has promised a full unveil of the Connected Home lineup during CES, which takes place in early January. For now though, some basic teasing which includes how this setup will make use of a Smart Home Tablet or the Archos Smart Home App running on another Android device.
