T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note Review

The Samsung Galaxy Note "phablet" as some like to call it is finally making its way to T-Mobile. The phone has been available for some time both internationally as well as from AT&T, but August 8th T-Mobile will join the list. What makes this phone special you ask? It has a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display that is just massive, but looks amazing. That isn't all either. You should know plenty about the Note already, but if not stay tuned for more details.

Android Community Weekly: July 29th, 2012

With the last week of July quickly approaching, we had a rather exciting week of Android news again this past week. As usual we unboxed a few new devices, received tons of juicy news on upcoming phones, and Google even rolled out their brand new Google Fiber Internet and TV service in Kansas City. T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q hands-on and unboxing

Today we have our hands-on the newest editions to T-Mobile's growing smartphone lineup. What we have here are two brand new Huawei smartphones but branded as the T-Mobile myTouch and the myTouch Q. We've seen countless leaks on these budget phones, but they'll soon be available from a T-Mobile store near you. For the extremely low price of $49 lets see what these phones have to offer in our hands-on below.

AT&T Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S III hands-on

Today we have a special treat to share with everyone, and that is the rare Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S III being offered over on AT&T. You'd think this color would arrive for Verizon, but AT&T stole the exclusivity and it has been up for pre-order all month. Available come Sunday for the lucky few, but we have it now for you to take a quick look. The color is the only difference, but so far I'm really liking it.

Pantech Star Q slider heads to Verizon with 4G LTE

It appears that Verizon is set to get another low end, budget friendly smartphone in the coming weeks or months. While nothing is official yet the image below seemingly confirms the new Pantech Star Q 4G LTE for Verizon Wireless. Being Pantech's second device with Verizon 4G LTE, this looks to be another budget offering.

HTC One X dropped to $99 on AT&T

If you're looking for an awesome smartphone for a low price, the folks from HTC and AT&T might have exactly what you need. Just in time for summer to be coming to an end AT&T has slashed the price on their flagship HTC One X smartphone in half. From $199 to just $99 bucks on a new 2-year contract.

Total Recall game launches for Android

Who's ready for Total Recall? We might not have Arnold Schwarzenegger this time around but the popular 90's movie is ready to take center stage again. The studio Jump Games has just launched what they are calling the official Total Recall game for Android and iOS. The graphics are neat, and it features a futuristic and unique look and feel -- just like the movie.

LG Nitro HD ICS update due July 31st

We might have jumped up a version of Android to Jelly Bean, but manufacturers are still playing catch up with Ice Cream Sandwich. At least LG is working slowly but surely, with AT&T announcing that the ICS update for the LG Nitro HD will be coming on July 31st. The update will bring all the benefits of Ice Cream Sandwich, plus LG’s new Optimus 3.0 UI, offering a cleaner visual aesthetic plus some new features.

Nexus 7 official cases “In Stock” and available now

Who wants a case for that shiny new Nexus 7? When Google announced their much anticipated Nexus 7 tablet at Google IO it immediately went up for pre-order on their Play Store. Along with it was an official case that sold out in a matter of minute and has since been listed as "coming soon." If you want a real case for the Nexus 7 (not a homemade one from the Kindle) they are available now.
