HP TouchPad Android 2.2.1 System Dump Files Now Available

The HP TouchPad has been getting a lot of attention as of late from the entire developer and Android communities. Once the TouchPad price dropped to $99 everyone started running wild with the hopes and dreams of one day soon running Android on said device. Just a day or two later we learned that Android ports were already under way and a few days later one was spotted running Android 2.2.1 out of the box, right from Best Buy.

Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation Coming Soon to Android [Video]

Gameloft has just unveiled the first teaser trailer for the brand new and upcoming first person shooter (FPS) game for Android and iOS. Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation will be coming to Android this fall according to @GameloftAndroid. From the video they've provided the game looks awesome, and so does its graphics and I can't wait to play it. Google+ Android App Updated: Improves Notifications, Reshare, Adds 38 languages

Google has just pushed out yet another update for the popular Google+ Android application with some much needed improvements. The list is quite large and a good start indeed but the last update aimed to fix notifications but those are still a bit buggy for me. One of the biggest improvements I see right away is the +mentions now autofill from your Circles. Something that worked great online but was not as easy on the mobile application.

Samsung Galaxy S II will not be offered by Verizon Wireless?

This is a bit depressing, in some sad news new details are coming out regarding the upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone. With the official US launch on the 29th new details are claiming that the biggest carrier here in the US, Verizon Wireless, will in fact NOT be carrying the Galaxy S II phone at all. This is according to the Wall Street Journal and then confirmed by Verizon spokesperson Brenda Raney.

Motorola Droid 3 Receives Root Access [Updated with 1-click]

Thanks to XDA Forums member djrbliss, who hasn't ever actually touched the Droid 3, found a nice and simple exploit that has allowed the Droid 3 to be successfully rooted. He has yet to unveil the full exploit used but he was nice enough to give everyone some instructions to do this on their own. No one click root here, this requires some ADB shell skills so make sure you know what you're getting into.

Amazon Leaks Names for Kindle Air, Wave, Earth, Water, Scribe

So we're thinking either the Wave and the Water are still in contention for the aquatic-based tablet of the future and/or they've decided to add a pen tool to the product instead of setting it aflame. Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and… Heart… are the basic elements as far as ancient storytelling goes, and if Kindle's collection of domain names continues as it has been, the likelihood of what we're assuming will be an another Android-based Kindle named after these earthly basics increases day by day. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and more outed by Samsung Unpacked App

It looks like a few prying eyes were digging around in the new Samsung Unpacked Android App and found some goodies. From what we are seeing Samsung has either on purpose or inadvertently unveiled three of their upcoming products they are announcing at the Unpacked Event. We are seeing the name Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and that gets me a little excited. a 7.7" Android Honeycomb Tab would be awesome.
