A member from Howard Forums benchmarked his Shadow with an app called Quadrant. The results were very favorable for the Shadow especially if it is running Android 2.1 or lower. It took second place in a performance test right behind the Nexus One on Android 2.2 and right above the Samsung Galaxy S which took third place.

Ok I’ll be the first to say it, all these high megapixel cameras on cell phones are ridiculous and I love it. Altek announced the first 14 megapixel camera phone, it’s called the Leo and it could come equipped with Android. If this does in fact turn out to be an Android phone, it will without a doubt have the best camera available on any Android device, maybe even the best camera on any phone in general.
When Google released Buzz back in February, Android users with 2.0 or higher were the only group to fully enjoy it from their mobile device. Today Google has updated Buzz work on any browser. This is likely an attempt by Google raise the popularity of Buzz.

Matias Duarte, Palm’s senior director of human interface and user experience, has decided to leave the company. Most of you may know HP recently acquired Palm a few weeks ago. There have been rumors that he could land at Google and help out with the development of Android. Those rumors were recently confirmed by Engadget.
At a presentation in Beijing today, Acer’s CEO Gianfranco Lanci teased the audience with a 7-inch Android tablet. When asked about the device he kept all information tight lipped. But the device is said to be running Android and is very fast. It appears Acer has a few more Android devices in the works that is almost ready for prime time.
Since its release, T-Mobile has been building the myTouch brand to be the flagship of their company. The Sidekick was their signature device until more sophisticated handsets hit the market. T-Mobile has big plans the myTouch Slide and has dubbed June 19th to be a big day for the device.
