HTC Legend ready for pre-order on Vodafone UK

With the recent announcement of the HTC EVO 4G and all the news on the Desire, the HTC Legend is still managing to stay in the news. This is one of the sexiest Android devices to date with its high quality aluminum unibody chassis and Sense UI under the hood.  This beauty has just popped up on Vodafone UK’s preorder page.

Round 2: MyTouch Fender LE

When this phone finally made its way into the market, it quickly sold-out within three weeks of its launch date. The wait for the second batch to arrive seems like an eternity for those of us that want one. Well, that way may be over very soon.

Rockchip Android prototype uses 720p-capable RK2808 chipset

We can't say we're especially enamoured by Rockchip's first attempt at an Android smartphone, but this reference design is more about what's going on inside the casing than what said-casing looks like.  Based on Rockchip's Android-capable RK2808 chipset, first announced all the way back in August last year (and wearing a pretty slick MID outfit at the time), the unnamed smartphone should support 720p HD video.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will never get multitouch

As more information on the X10 continues to roll in, this device is continuing its roll downhill. It appears as though the hardware is not capable of supporting multi-touch. Couple this with the high suggested retail price and the multiply delays and you have a potential flop on your hands.

Sprint Announcing The EVO And New Data Plans Tomorrow?

An internal document was just leaked to the guys over at mobilecrunch. This document states that there will be a companywide meeting that outlines April marketing plans but, rumor has it that this will be no ordinary meeting. Some are calling it a top secret companywide mandatory meeting. The EVO wasn’t specifically mentioned in the document but let’s piece together this puzzle and see what we can make out it.

Sprint EVO 4G won’t do simultaneous voice-data

Besides this being on Sprint, this single factor just ruled this phone out for me. I’m sure there are a few (a lot) of you that don’t really care about this. Looks like 4G will do nothing to change the fact that CDMA phones can’t do voice and data at the same time. I for one need my phone to have this ability. I use them both simultaneously almost every day. And this isn’t just some random rumor it has been confirmed by HTC themselves.

Dell Aero hands-on and UI walkthrough – Video

Like most new phones, AT&T and Dell are trying to keep the information on this phone tight lipped until they are ready to officially introduce it. Engadget managed to get some hands on time with the Aero at this year’s CTIA and there were a few surprises packed into this phone. Needless to say they are not the type of surprises we like around here.
